Sizzling Summertime

I know, it has been a while since I posted.
Our life has gone a little crazy...
Adam went back to school for his MBA in management and I am going back to school to finally finish my bachelors in business. It is not easy and has been a lot harder than we both anticipated. Our daily day to day is the same hectic schedule with two kiddos with Adam and I getting up earlier and going to bed super late in order to get our school work done.
So, sorry it has been a while, but this may be our new blog normal- one huge post a month...
What's been up with us?
We celebrated Adam's birthday on June 28th!
The weekend before his birthday I was diagnosed with a parasite and got hospitalized when I had it- not fun! I am 100% better now. We started our college classes the day after Adam's bday.
Our sweet munchkins

Emma is starting preK at Madison Academy on August 4th!
We are all very excited for her. This is a picture of her homemade tote bag Mommy made for her and her matching napmat and lunch box.
July 4th was awesome...

Hanging out at the pool with Tucker...
My mom took her grandkids to the beach for a week
Kiddie Carnival in Athens with our buddy Tucker

My mom also took Emma with her to the beach with her best friends and their granddaughters. It was called "The first annual grandma granddaughter beach trip"
We got daily email journals from the grandmas and they were HILARIOUS! I will try to do a separate post of the journal emails we received. Blogger will not let me copy and paste for some reason right now.

We took Emma to the beach last weekend to celebrate her turning 4!

Ice cream cake for BREAKFAST!

This is my all time favorite picture from the whole beach trip... Emma praying on the beach. She did this all on her own and when I saw her I asked her what she was doing? Emma: "just praying to God cause he'll keep us safe."

Watch out world- she got a Jeep for her birthday!

We took them swimming at the Y yesterday. They had a blast.
So there is your update on the Roap family. Have had lots of travels, adventures, struggles, trials, and great times. We are still hanging on and have no idea what is in store for us- but that is the fun of life, right?
Stay tuned ;)
